THE POSTSCRIPT PROJECT

for everything that comes after

Postscript: a note added to a completed letter.

Derived from the Latin word post scriptum, meaning “written after.”

A handwritten note on a small piece of paper with a P.S. message that reads, “you would’ve loved the pierogi at Christmas Eve this year.”

The Postscript Project is a place to record the stories we’re living out.

Here, we gather the updates we’ve longed to share, the questions rising to the surface, the truths we are learning to name, and the milestones marking the path forward.

In every postscript, a life is remembered, and a story is carried forward.

Postscript Prompts

  • An update on what’s happening in your life today

  • A thought or feeling you wish you could tell her

  • A question you’d like to ask your mom

  • A challenge you’re facing or a recent achievement

  • A choice you’ve made recently and the ways she influenced it

  • A value, habit, or practice you’re carrying forward in your daily life

  • A moment when you felt her presence or love

  • Something you do today to honor her memory

  • A hope or intention for yourself in this current chapter

  • How your view of life today has been shaped by her absence

Below are some ideas if you’d like a little inspiration. There’s no right or wrong way to write, only your way.
