  • Our free art service is available to women 18 and older who have lost their mothers and wish to request art for themselves. We do not accept requests on behalf of others.

  • We accept one request per person per year.

  • The Mourning Post was created to celebrate women throughout their grief journeys.

Whether it’s the anniversary of your mother’s passing, a new baby, a birthday, a big move, a new job, or any other meaningful moment or mourning milestone, we would be honored to create something special just for you.

Even on the days that feel heavy for no specific reason, we’re always happy to send a little sunshine your way.

  • No. We do not accept requests made on behalf of others.

We want to honor the personal nature of grief, allowing each woman the space and control to reach out when she feels ready.

If you know someone who might be interested in our service, we invite you to let them know about us, so they can reach out when it feels right for them.

  • Each piece is one of a kind, inspired by your story and created by my six-year-old daughter.

Because of this process, we’re unable to accommodate specific instructions, previews, revisions, or exchanges. Each piece is created once and completed as a final work, guided by interpretation and care.

  • The Mourning Post’s art service is free.

If you’re interested in donating to help us continue this service, please reach out. We’d love to hear from you.

Important note: We are neither a not-for-profit organization, nor are we a designated 501(c)(3) organization. This means donations are NOT tax-deductible.

  • As a small, but mighty, mother-daughter team working from our kitchen table, we process requests in the order they are received. While we strive to send your art as quickly as possible, we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates or timelines. You can trust that we’ll handle your request thoughtfully and with heart.

  • Yes! We are happy to send our art wherever it is needed. Please note that delivery times may vary depending on where you are, and therefore we can’t guarantee precise arrival dates.

  • We’re so honored you’d want to be part of what we’re creating. While we don’t have a formal volunteer or partnership program in place right now, we’re always dreaming up new ways to grow. If you have an idea, we’d love to hear from you.
